Meet Madalyn Grask

Madalyn Grask, Associate Attorney | madalyn@iowajustice.com

Madalyn is an associate attorney at Dickey, Campbell, & Sahag Law Firm P.L.C. Her practice is centered around criminal law and includes criminal defense, appellate litigation, and post-conviction applications.

Madalyn grew up on the south side of Des Moines and attended the University of Iowa after graduating high school where she studied Global Health and Rhetoric & Persuasion. She earned her law degree at Drake University Law School in 2024.

During law school, Madalyn served as a note editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, the founding president of Drake Law School's chapter of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice, and a team captain of the ABA moot court team. Madalyn spent two semesters representing individuals accused of crimes in the Drake Legal Clinic.

At the culmination of her time in law school, Madalyn was awarded with the Merseal Prize for Social Justice for her commitment to advancing social justice and the Outstanding Editorial Board Member award for her work on the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law.

Outside of work, Madalyn enjoys running, baking, reading, and the Boston Red Sox.
