Meet Jamie Hunter

Ms. Hunter is an attorney with Dickey, Campbell & Sahag Law Firm, P.L.C.  As an experienced appellate attorney, Ms. Hunter has argued in front of the Iowa Supreme Court, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Iowa Court of Appeals. She has won cases at every level, including at the District Court, Court of Appeals, and Iowa Supreme Court. Her practice also includes litigating animal rights and environmental issues before municipalities.

Ms. Hunter grew up in rural Southwest Iowa before attending the University of Iowa and then graduating from Drake University Law School with Honors.  During law school, she clerked for the Parrish Kruidenier Law Firm while also representing clients in Drake’s Advanced Criminal Defense Clinic. Ms. Hunter competed for two years on the AAJ Mock Trial team and served on both the Moot Court Board and the executive board of Drake Law Women. For her excellence in oral advocacy, she was elected to the Order of the Barristers upon graduation.   

When she is not in the courtroom, Ms. Hunter spends her time outdoors with her husband, daughters, and dog.
